mickomoo Posted May 29, 2011 Share Posted May 29, 2011 This is the first song I've ever composed I think I only posted on here once before a few months ago (it is not the song I posted 2 weeks ago), but I've made serous changes to it, like rewrote it from scratch with new samples. I honestly have no idea how to define what genre it is, I like choirs, orchestra, and guitar and I tried to incorporate that. But for a first song I think it was too ambitious and it probably shows, it needs smoothing out and such: I wanted to see in what ways I improved and what needs improving. Here's the older version for reference if you care to see it: Were as the older version had timing issues, I feel the newer version's issues are the transitions. Also, the older version seemed to have a more airy and heavy feeling... I don't know how to mix so I have no idea how to get that same feeling into the newer version.
