This is probably because the game itself wasn't the best, but the soundtrack is what kept me playing. I've never heard a more epic title screen song than this game. I would love it if someone paid some love to this soundtrack. I'm mostly partial to chippy 8bit sounding stuff, but really any take on the music would be awesome. Here's the title screen music that I'm talking about: also check out the Locksley Castle, Duel, and In Battle and Fight Theme 1. Really all the tracks are quite well done for the time. Cheers!
