SonicThHedgog
Im looking into buying either a....(saving) motu 2408 mk3 or a Saffire pro 40 I am also in need of more inputs as well so im leaning to the saffire... Anyone with experience with these 2 things. Edit: im working on building my little studio, I want to grow steady. along the line maybe I will purchase a digital mixer, rent synths more often(or buy) etc.. theshaggyfreak
I've been using the Safire Pro 40 for about a year now. i bought it to replace a Digi 002R after i decided to get rid of Pro Tools. The Safire Pro 40 is a great interface and the preamps are pretty clean. I can't say I have any negative comments about it.

SonicThHedgog
Ah man, why no Focusrite? The converters dont sound as good as the motu's. Had a chance to listen to recorded OTB and ITB renders at gearslutz
