My first attempt a techno

Hey, this is a work-in-progress still, but how does this sound so far? It's my first try at techno... I'm not even sure what style it is actually, I make it sound as I feel. It's also only my 3rd track ever, been addicted to creating music for 2 months now. Oh and pump up the volume!

Damn is it bad? I was hoping to get some pro opinions, I'm just getting started in making/remixing music. Tell me if it flat out sucks...

i think this is pretty damn good for a 1st attempt.

the first half is solid. reminds me of old orbital.i'd maybe think about using some delays on the synth sounds, creating that swirling spacey vibe.

my major complaint. the melody that kicks in at 1:27 or so. sounds real cheezy to my ears. i'm not a big fan of the sound design of this element. the actual melody is okay, not awesome, but the synth sound is real hokey.

my 2 cents.

and as an aside, no one ever comments here in this forum.

I see what you mean with the synth sound problem at 1:27. I'll try to fix this and see what I can do with the delay!
