slickshoes Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Has anyone else noticed that a bunch of tracks from Kirby Super Star sound remarkably like ska songs? Back when I tried my hand at the ReMix thing, one of my favorite perennial WIP projects was a ska version of the second Gourmet Race song, Hilltop Chase. As it turns out, I suck at Fruity Loops and the like, so it never really got off the ground. I recently was listening to all my old, horrific ReMix attempts, and was pretty surprised to see none of them -- especially this one, since it seems like such a no-brainer -- have yet to be covered by this wonderful site. Therefore, I humbly submit this idea to you, the internet, in the hope that someone more capable than I take this song under his or her wing. Won't someone out there make a ska ReMix of this song?
