Bio
Fei Fong Wong is the main character of Xenogears and an amiable young man of 18 years. His home has been the small village Lahan since he was brought there one night, unconscious, by a silent, masked man. Upon waking up the next morning, Fei had lost his memory, and he started his life anew.
Fei is a practiced martial artist, and instructs children of Lahan in his art. He is also a prolific painter and appears to have been taught his skills by a master. He is quiet but not shy, often expressing his thoughts and feelings in a controlled, pragmatic tone.
Xenogears is, in part, the story of how Fei's shadowy past violently shapes his life. Although at the game's outset he seems unimportant to the great conflict that rages outside Lahan, he becomes more and more bound to it in his past, present, and future as the story progresses.
Over time, Fei is reluctantly transformed into an effectual pilot of Weltall, a large engine of war shaped like a person (the likes of which are called "Gears" in the game). Time and again, Weltall is almost a part of Fei in how extensively it is tied to and influences his fate.
