Yo yo wazzup ma peeps its pretzel from da east side givin' it up to my homies out dere in da west. Word. If you be lookin' for funky phat crunchy beatz and bubble bobble flava you done hit the jackpot, 'cause the freshness jus don't stop when you put this p3 in ya playa and get ya groove on DAMMIT . . . okay, forget trying to roleplay in the dialect, and check out this great 'west side homies' hip-hop / rap take on the oft-remixed Bubble Bobble theme by "Cuddly Battleship Kattywampus" . . . sort of like Space Battleship Yamamoto, only not? Beats me, but the track is strong, with a nice warm dope bass and some nice steel drums and chimin' effects. I double dare any of ya to blast this in your lowrider and ride around in the more dangerous areas of LA shoutin out "Bub and Bob own the Crips AND Bloods!" and see how long you live :) Flava? Helllz yeah . . . .

I really don't like most of the instrument choices here. The steel drum, banjo, and bell seems like a conglomeration of all the instruments I don't usually like to hear as lead instruments I agree with DA, this is way too quiet, it could stand to be boosted up quite a bit.
I can't really dig this, sorry Great remixer name, though!

This is super quiet, especially after listening to such a loud mix a couple minutes ago. A volume boost would have helped the background come out a little bit more and support everything else going on. Aside from that, there's not much to say about this one. It's pretty close to the source, but in a much more laid back, hip hop style. Personally I'm not crazy about the style, the source, or the sounds, so this is a pass for me. Sorry.

n ot bad, i'd try to fl ow over th is my self. to bad can 't write rhymes any mo re. anyway. good job! peace out homey! weeestsidde!!!!! hahahaahah!

Nah, it definitely is too quiet - I had to raise the volume on this one.
I remember this though. It takes a pretty cool approach, but it is too short for what is there. It also goes without saying that the samples could use some improvement, but this is a pretty good start to a full fledged song.

certainly has a light bubbly hip-hop feel to it. the whole mix seems rather quiet... or maybe it's just me?
pretty fun mix. you need to throw down some rhymes over this
nice job!

Sounds like a Korean hip hop group. Even though I hate the bubble bobble theme, I can appreciate this sunny, breezy take on the theme. Nice arrangement, too bad it's bubble bobble.

So unfortunate it is that this was mixed at a relatively low volume. 'S good.

This ReMix is a good example of what OCR should be. You take a source tune and you turn it to something different. The arrangement here is really interesting. I'm not a big fan of hip hop but I can easily appreciate the effort put into this. Come on, tell me that this wasn't unexpected. The ReMiXeR here did a good job twice. At first, he had an original idea, and then he turned it out in such a good way.
Relaxing remix. Short but good.

Maybe its just me, but it sounds like Ghetto Paradise at the end. Good job, love it!

Not bad...I think I like some of the other BB remixes more, but the lightness and fun associated with this one are nice. Plus that BB tune is just so darn catchy!

I should've reviewed this sooner (I downloaded this mix a week ago), but I've been sick with the flu and only now am I feeling better. Well anyway, I don't mean to be harsh, but HELL I'll just say it: This mix sucks. If I download a rap mix, I don't nesecarily expect VOCALS, so I'll let that slide, but besides vocals, rap is two things: Loud drum beats and killer basslines, of which this mix has neither. Stay FAR far away.

I know the drums are a little faint, but I like that...soft, smooth, relaxing...great job on this mix!

Hahaha, yes, this Bubble Bobble ReMix is very slick. Dig those steel drums!

Bubble Bobble 'West Side Homies'
True story- I found this remix off of Kazaa about a month before it was
posted on OC ReMix. It's a fun little interpretation of the classic BB theme,
funky and light, smooth and fluid. Bubble Bobble remixes are always
welcome by the monkey machine, and you should like them too.
