I really liked Chuck's initial ReMix offering, a great synth-pop mix of Deflektor, an old computer classic, but feel that perhaps the game was little obscure for some, it wasn't downloaded as much as it should be. Well, this track should have no such injustice levied towards it - the immortal bomberman finally gets a peppy synth-pop treatment that totally fits its happy, carefree, blow-shit-up-all-over-the-place style. Did I mention how much I suck at bomberman? It's legendary. People come from miles around just to see how bad I am at these games. I can hold my own on most any capcom 2d fighter, but when it comes to jumpin' bombs, I'm pathetic, and get my ass toasted on a regular basis. I end up just having to make life tough for others instead of trying to win myself. I am the kamikaze bomberman. Anyway, perhaps with Chuck's choice ReMix I can get psyched and actually win a few rounds. Great, fun shtuff. Also love how the 'snare' is a jumping sound :)

I wish the percussion drove this forward better, because it was too flimsy-sounding. That said, the energy of this one has always been light-hearted and fun.

Wow this is one happy tune which does disappoint anyone. Great stuff!

What a quirky happy mix. I guess my main complaint here is that it's too short and probably relies too much on the original source to carry it.

hmm... saw the words chip and trip and both got me excited.

this is alright... at 0:26 things begin to sound pretty muddy. by the 1:00 mark it gets a little better but the clarity of your samples is rather average imo...

the source is sort of weak and theres just not much to work with... which leaves you with a final product that is rather short and repetitive.

How trippy. Not a fan of the actual melody, but this mix definately brings a smile to your face. Gets a bit repetative towards the end, some more variation, or some new sounds would have been nice.

Cute little mix.

I am a big fan of Chuck's Deflektor mix, and this one is good as well, but I think that regardless of the mix quality, I just generally dislike the bomberman theme.

The mix is well produced for a chiptune and is very cheerful.

I really liked this one!

It's a very upbeat and catchy song. Good work! I could listen to it all day! The bubble sound kept me in throughout the whole song. Excellent job Chuck Dodgers.

A really cool mix, I really like it!

However, this mix sounds more like its inspiration was from Mega Bomberman on the Sega than from the standard NES version of Bomberman. Its still very original, but some of the extra background in this mix isn't from the NES, but is also on Mega Bomberman.

Here is the GYM of it, if anyone is interested :)

This mix doesn't catch me a lot. It's too... boring. It needs more instruments. It is a good song, but it doesn't get to be burned on any of my CDs.

Bomberman 'Chip Trip'

I love a good chip tune. This one is nice and light. A little playful.

The little synthy lines fly back and forth in fast running lines and tie

together with a simple drum line and bass line. Nice.
