PirateCrab (Daniel Woodyer) gets his Kuwanger on with this intense, face-meltin' metal MMX mix:
"OK Boomer! My next metal remix comes from Mega Man X and is Boomer Kuwanger! This is part of a release with Pixel Mixers called Mavericks of Destruction. You can download this album for free. It's full of great remixes and other VG artists, and I'm glad to have been part of it!
It's been a damn blast writing this one and I can't wait to get more Mega Man up here. I've been wanting to cover a Mega Man theme for ages, so this was perfect timing for me to get off my butt and get writing! It's full of catchy riffs, heavy grooves, and shreddy solos, so there's something for every metal fan here! People who've been enjoying the track have been calling it "Kuwanga Banga" so, hey, let's call it that! :-D"
It's fun just to SAY "Boomer Kuwanger," really. I feel like wars, arguments, or even mild indigestion could all be prevented if we just said "Boomer Kuwanger" out loud more often, and (always) from the heart. While that may never happen, this take on Boomer is more than just OK, as Daniel throws down some dense, lively oomph; Larry Oji writes:
"Love the power behind this one, where it's melodically conservative with lots of Daniel's own original riffs behind the source melody to flesh out the sound and give this a lot of heft (e.g. 1:26-1:53, but really all over the place). The track actually feels shorter than its 3+ minutes, but PirateCrab brings a shot of adrenaline with it! Pixels Mixers always come through with large and in charge group albums, so if you want something else along the lines of the MMX series coverage of Maverick Rising, be sure to grab Mavericks of Destruction!"
What he said; great, energetic track with mojo to spare, clean production, high-impact drums, searing guitar, and attitude. Enjoy!

Love me some metal Mega Man. The production on this is top-notch and the arrangement is absolutely killer. More, please!

More metal + Megaman...I mean, c'mon, who doesn't like it?
