DJ Crono ain't no fluke. He's certainly bringing a unique contribution to the world of game remixes, and whether you dig 'em or not, there's gotta be props on some level for trying something new + different. When I first heard his stuff with the FF6 mix from awhile back, I have to admit that initially I was doubtful, but I found myself really enjoying it. I was bummed to find out that the vocals were all samples, but then he turned around and with this and his previous mix did his own vocals. And they're good. This Wild Arms ReMix is every bit as strong musically (which is always the key, eh?) as his previous mixes, has a nice spanish beat / hip-hop sound to it, and is mixed very cleanly. Lyrics are again good stuff, and while this track could subsist on its own without vocals, they add greatly to it, but still don't overpower the excellent variety of lead synth, ambient pads, strings, a nice short blip synth, guitar, and swell-stabs. There's also some expertly placed vocal samples like "you want the mic back, gimme the mic back" and great vocal processing throughout. Just great stuff, and perhaps a notch better than Jovette's previous efforts, this is some fantastic news for Wild Arms fans, DJ Crono fans, and OCR fans in general. Fresh stuff, highly recommended.

This is some beautifully haunting stuff from Jovette that never seems to fail in catching me off guard. I fall in love with the dark and lonely sound every time, each time unexpectedly. It's a total surprise because I'm not a big supporter of this type of vocal performance, and I generally think that lyrics in a mix used to convey anything but fun, comedic material come of as wanky. However, this is absolutely one of the big exceptions. I may not have any idea what is being said half the time, but damn, it works.
I've always liked layered vocal elements in music, and while this is perhaps more subtle than some other examples I could name, it's definitely effective nonetheless.
I'm really adamant to get behind this mix and shine a little light on it. For being unique, stylish and the darkest kind of pleasure, it deserves anything but getting lost in the shuffle. A very remarkable mix, for me.

The title is French, huh? Seems really close to the Italian way of saying it.
Dov'è l'amore.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this song. It is an amazing song. If this is really you singing, then i may respect this song more than any other here. Anyone can make a synthy techno beat, but it takes real skills to write lyrics and sing them. My favorite part of this is the harmonized skribbling "gijja gijja" it sounds like. As they say on ebay, "A+++++++++ WOULD LISTEN AGAIN"[/i]

This one has to be your best.
Very South Koreaish style of rap.

Excellent Sound! I HATE MOST RAP but I LOVE THIS. Only one bad thing...
Nobody has made a Boomerang Flash remix yet! When will the injustice end? *sobs over the body of a dying friend*

The lyrics could have been louder, but this is still very cool, catchy work. Though I'm admittedly not really a fan of his other material, this is really excellent stuff from DJ Crono, and one you should absolutely check even if you don't care for or know the Wild ARMs soundtrack.

This song... well... what can I say... if it were possible to achieve orgasm through music... lets just say this song would give porn stars a run for their money. I'm hoping to remix this song as well, once I get a studio up ^^ we'll see though

This song...isnt just a song. Its beyond words to describe. Ever have an obsession with a song and you listen to it over and over for hours? This one has that quality. Its so intoxicating. I really like the background chorus and my favorite part about the song is the electric guitar solo...thats awesome!
DJ Crono is my hero! lol

I'm still looking for a DJ Chrono mix that doesn't tempt me to open the review with "wow".
First, I have to thank the DJ for choosing a language I understand.
That comment made, this mix strikes a great balance between hip-hop and Spanish love song. That's a hard thing to do, and DJ Chrono pulls it off beautifully. The fact that, at one point, the song switches to English is handled with notable skill.
The placing of the vocal samples is perfect. They all seem to make sense, with the possible exception of "Viva la DJ Chrono," which still serves the purpose of adding Chrono's signature flare to this mix.
Keep 'em comin' Chrono!

yet another masterpiece from the great Dj Crono! I have never ever thought of doing anything such as remixing game music or even other kinds of music. It never really crossed my mind (maybe also because i lack the talent)...but hearing YOUR music, has like changed my life forever! I wish i asked to a 'remixing kit' or something when i was 10 at least and learnt to play a whole bunch of instruments and be able to make somethin as good as this (which is like impossible...you are like the Beethoven or Mozart of Remixing!)
Pure genius really! I hope you never stop this wonderful thing you do...
It would be a real honour too meeting you in person or somethin...id like ask for your autograph!
Seriously the music nowadays isnt all that great, sometimes you wanna give up! But then you look at anime ost's, and the regular check on OCRemix and you have pretty much everything you need...thanks to awesome artists like you!
Keep it up bro!
