Any chance of Gamebox finishing Frozen Lavareef? Hell, I'd even be happy with a download of the WIP for now.

Y'know, when I read "Urban" I was expecting something different as well, like many of us here... but what we did get, I still really like! I think this whole album might go on my ROKR or PSP for now. A lot of these are just great to have on the background when you're going about your day, you know? That's my impression so far.
Spittin' Narcissism stands out to me, to name just one. Now, I'm a huge fan of Rayza's old "Club Del Toro" mix of Vega's theme, and this mix is completly different! But it works well, IMO. His voice and flow sound damn good. Better than a lot of what I hear on the radio

Speaking of that subject... the face... you can't really get a photorealistic face, so I'll just paint it in as exact and nice-looking as possible.

;;HAWT PHOTOSHOP TIPPZ for people who take up this detailed-but-blurry picture assignment:
circular-Select the important parts (characters), feather the selection by a good amount, and run a Lens Blur on the piece! That's new in Photoshop CS2 I think, so I can always do it for you if you don't have CS2. "You" being... you know, whoever you are that does this. XP

Totally not what I was going to do, but I like this one just as much. I think mine was going to end up too complicated anyway. (All 4 seasons at once o_o)

Me too! And by that I mean... I don't know. The comic? Well here's the skimmy:
I go on Winter Break starting the 15th (ish). Three weeks.
First two weeks or so I'll be working full time, but I'll spend the extra time cleaning my room and doing Kirby project stuff.
Then the final week, I have work vacation too and I am going to SEAL MYSELF AWAY to work on an original animation project.
Also, next quarter I have "Advanved Photoshop Painting for Comic Books" which might (read: Will. The teacher is awesome) give me some skills. Honestly, I know nothing about Comic design except to use Comic Sans MS font and use bold lines for the boarders.

Use Trillian or some other method of connecting cause that happened to me too, for really no apparent reason. I think they had accidentally banned me instead of some other schmuck. -

Also I vote for each chapter having it's own boss music. I've never seen something like that done before... it would be quite novel and awesome.

Perhaps the liquify tool in Photoshop... I could try it myself but I don't have a huge amount of experience with that feature. Anyone here who does? Or has a better method of getting that page effect on to all of our artwork?

That's MUCH better o_o You're definatley on the right track. The only problem is doing a similar effect to the artwork. It all has to match, otherwise those curved pages just look silly with flat graphics on them

I'm still up for the comics/chapter covers, as well as the Kracko fight. My productivity is gonna be WAY down though since I am in school now
I'll still try and work on this though, if/when I actually get my homework done early on some weeks.I'm kinda treating this like my 5th class' homework assignment this quarter

In case you're wondering what he's talking about, Hock's been given orders not to draw any covers to chapters that don't have music WIPs yet. We gotta match up the WIP to the art you see.

Aie, aie. That was my plan since I realized it's pretty much done (right?). I'd appriciate it if somebody would send me the Floria mix just so I have the whole thing to listen to out of Flash, so I can paint to it.
Might as well send any other WIPs/mixes you have, if you go and do that. (I love this part of the job. Hah XD)

I guess that might work as a lead instrument, although it doesn't sound anywhere near as airy, mysterious, or magical as the game tune... eh, I've always liked that little intro song so you have a tough crowd to please ;P
