  1. I beat Maximum Carnage for the first time about 5 months ago. Been playing that game on and off since I was ......... probably 8 years old. I'm 23 now, and have only beaten it once. The game, at least until you get to Carnage , is not that difficult IMO. I can get to Carnage no problem. Defeating him, however......not easy.

One of my favorite games of all time.

  2. I haven't played it but I heard about it several months back. I think that regardless of the "statement" the creators are trying to make, it's digusting for this game to even exist. I don't think it was made to be sold though, just downloaded (I could be wrong), so at least no one's making a profit off of it. But still.

  3. Well, since this thread is called underwhelming last bosses, and not easy last bosses, that disqualifies a lot of games I would like to bring up (like FFVII, X, and XII, LoZ, and any Mario game).

Tomato, tomato. Yeah, the boss was easy. And because of that, it was a huge letdown. Underwhelming, even.:)

  4. The last boss in FFX2. It's been a while since I played it so I don't remember how long it took, but I remember it being less than 5 minutes for each form. A couple of forms went down in a few hits. I beat it several times just to show others how stupid it was!

  5. Far too simple. No offense meant whatsoever, but the original piece had a lot more depth to it. I don't like the short, blippy (for lack of a better word) sounds, or the fact that certain notes from the original were cut out. Not to say it has to be just like the original, but it sounds enough like the original that it bothers me that the notes are missing.

Sorry I can't give you a better review. I absolutely love the source material, and I hope you keep trying.

  6. As far as an amp the Roland M Cube will be your most affordable good amp. Very small but great sound for its size. $110. IMO the most affordable "good" amp you can find. I've found a lot of the Roland Cubes to be pretty solid. As far as guitars, the store I work at deals primarily with Yamaha, and guitars aren't really our thing. How long have you been playing?

I know from experience that the Epiphone SG is solid, good pick ups , good overall setup. Around 300 dollars if Im not mistaken (I may be). What kind of sound are you going for? I've had a lot of luck with D'Addario strings personally.
