    I was a little pissed off when they said 'Kirby had changed the least' on the blog. Hopefully what they did change will make him a more powerful character. He went from being one of my best characters (along with Ness) to one I could only used due to experience. If I had just started on Melee I would have never picked up Kirby, which is sad.

    I understood his appearance had changed the least... thats sure what they make it out so sound like in the blog.

    He’s the only character who really hasn’t changed much from his appearance in Super Smash Bros. Melee. He’s round' date=' pink, and soft[/b'].

    Albeit we have seen just about all his B moves in the trailers... and they don't seem to be any different... but that doesn't mean he doesn't play entirely different!

    Assuming they're not phase-shifting through the damn things, yeah.

    Oh. Well if you just wait for one of them to charge you, mid charge they are completely vulnerable. No phasing. It worked really well for me. If it started charging its bolt, I'd just give it a half charged shot, which would provoke it to charge. :razz: Freeze them in one shot, and shaaatter.

    Oh, and the gear puzzle in question (unless I'm thinking of a different one... which I really don't think I am) is the one where you need to find an adequate vantage point to grapple from, flip the thing in the air, then blast it onto the axle with a missile.

    This time, missiles don't work so well.

    What!? Missiles rape the metroids in this game. One missile and one charged shot and BOOM.

    What about the puzzle with the gear?

    That puzzle was pretty cool. I was awfully giddy at that point.

    I want to make one of these.

    Well, I would have either wanted deeper commitment to the PED suit or no PED suit at all. Like I said, the puzzles seemed too tacked on and simplistic. You figured out which Hyper mode weapon to use, then you used it. Plus, there was no correlation to the amount of times you used Hyper mode and the level of corruption in Samus body. I'm not saying Samus' corruption was a bad mechanic, but there were certainly better ways to have handled it.

    For as much commitment Retro had to the Phazon storyline, you would think Samus' own corruption would play bigger into the story...

    Given that they had a bio-hazard scanner in the ship, I agree that the level of corruption should have been related to the amount of times you entered Hypermode. But it would've been tricky to make that work wouldn't it? I mean, what if you reached 99% near the very last leviathan, and then needed to use Hyper mode to get past it. That save file would just... be impossible to complete? That would kind of blow.

    The PED suit on its own accord though, I had no problems accepting.

    On a semi related note (END GAME SPOILER): Does the number of energy tanks you've accumulated throughout the game bear any influence on the phazon meter? Having only played through once so far, I can't compare it, but it didn't appear that it would, which would make a "minimal energy tank play-through" awfully cheapened.

    Poo. I was hoping there was another. I must admit I was a little excited when I saw the Wi-Fi logo. :-(

    I think the photos for the FLUDD move clearly show that FLUDD Mario is a completely different character.

    Geeze, that IS old. Why have I never seen it posted on these forums!

    My friend showed me a leaked picture of the boxart for Brawl. It looked pretty legit, but it was a pretty small picture. It had the wifi logo on it.

    Just wish I payed attention to what site he was on.

    It's fake though, I'd assume, given that it's in ALOT of other places as well without that Wi-Fi logo on it. Like I said though, it's a very nice looking cover. And whoever made it did a good job.

    Because that text book is fucking retarded and loses all credibility in my eyes if it seriously means to say they require multiplayer to be a "shooter". Looking at it in the context of English, does the term "shooter" even remotely or accurately represent, "something in which many people take part in the same or similar activity together"? Nobody, and I mean nobody, I know personally flies with "multiplayer" being a requirement in their definition.

    Just looking at the gaming market, there are plenty of single player games where you shoot shit. What do you call that? "A single player game where you shoot shit"?

    That definition is just ridiculous. Duck hunt was a FPS, and its main appeal was NOT multiplayer. :-D

    I actually missed that. Can't believe I didn't think about it.

    However, one thing I had a great level of fun with was lotsa white writing.

    Ohhh, wow I never tried exploding stuff. Which is strange, because i've drained just about everything but a shield. Watching those Wasp things Squirm and try to get away is fun. :-P Is it effective?

    I dunno what his upB will be, but it looks like his dB will be able to aid his recovery. The more you've charged it, the more so. On melee, some characters had fBs that helped their recoveries. (Marth, Mario, Doc, Roy, Luigi, Pikachu, Pichu, Yoshi) Zelda, Ganon, and CF too, but in a different way. I think Wario's chopper may help him return to the stage, maybe in the manner of Yoshi's fB.

    You forgot Fox, Falco, and IC. Oh and Samus' dB is sick for recovery!!!

    And if you really wanna stretch it, I've seen Mewtwo's nB used very effectively for recovery. lol :lol:

    So I just bought MP3, put it in, had it do a proper system update and then I get "The Game Disc could not be read.

    Bloody BS. Not a single scratch on the disc and I've got to trek back to Target to exchange it, assuming they still have copies available.

    You obviously don't know how Americans are. I've found money several times and returned it. I returned a lady's purse as well, and she came back and gave me 20 bucks as a reward.

    I've left my debit card at the bar twice, and they've held on to it each time. I've seen them do it for countless others as well. Yes, there are assholes who will even beat you up to take $5 from you. But, before you stereotype all Americans, use your brain so that you won't make your own place of origin look stupid.

    Oh yeah, and an American built this site and forum that you're posting your b.s. on, and several of them maintain it as well, so keep your denominations in PPR or somewhere else.

    I know I shouldn't respond to your comment, but I will.

    Sure he really shouldn't have generalized on all of America, but he did live here for 24 years supposedly, so it's fair for him to assess where he was compared to where he is now. I know there are a lot of good people out there... but I'd also have to say there are just as many "not so righteous" people. I've got no idea how it's like in Japan but unless I have some indication to someone's intent ANYWHERE, I couldn't participate in something like this on the premise alone that there ARE alot of assholes here. And the internet is possibly the worst place to judge someone's character.

    Anyway, he sure should have stated it differently, but his idea was far from ill intended and it really didn't seem like he meant boast his self-righteousness.

    I just want everyone to play fair and get along. <3

    Oh and Bahamut, great idea but to scary for me. My games are practically my children. :| I hope it flies well!
