Threads like this are likely posted all the time, but I have to ask. I'm seriously considering getting into mixing. I've studied out software packages and I know that I want to purchase Cakewalk's Sonar 7. But, aside from that, I'm quite inexperienced. I'm not sure which edition of Sonar 7 to buy, and I'm even more lost when it comes to hardware. I have a very, very general idea of what I'll need, but I really need some help here. Hey. We all have to start somewhere, right? Thanks in advance.

Awesome! The only fault I see in this is the rather blase logo. That is, if the FF3 logo with "Echoes of Eternity" underneath is the soundtrack logo.

So I was thinking of getting into remixing... Cakewalk's Sonar packages looked the most enticing to me, but I'm really quite confused as to what package to get. There are several different versions, named Home and Production and at least one other... I'm not sure what they're exactly called, but I'd really like to be able to do what is heard on OCR after some practice. I'd be creating things that aren't techno or rave, for the most part, if that makes a difference. Any help would be great! Thanks for helping a n00b, -Gus Gus
