I think that the piano ostinato that starts the track would sound more musical and human if the repeating B was a little quieter so that the moving upper part (the ebagf#gf#e....) came to the forefront, and if the volume swelled up towards the middle of the pattern and down towards the end.

Try using a limiter if you want to pump up the perceived volume.

[Shadow of the Colossus OST on piano]

Here's some piano transcriptions from the Shadow of the Colossus OST. I hope to tackle pretty much the whole soundtrack eventually.

Right now they're more covers than remixes, with only very slight rearranging (besides the re-orchestration needed for putting orchestral work on the piano, that is). I'll plan to do some real remixing for submission here if people like my work at this stage.
