  1. Thanks everyone to the great replies so far. I am filled with awe. I haven't heard one negative thing yet so far, which shocks me because there is always someone out there you can't satisfy. You are all right. This whole album is filled with dedication and love. I'm happy everyone has felt it throughout the album. It was the whole point. :-)

Also I cannot release unofficial material so no, you will not see the tracks that didn't make it to the album. Sorry! :( It just doesn't work that way. A lot of them are not finished and unpolished. Artists don't want to release such material. It's a private matter and the album has 58 tracks already, stop complaining about more and/or bonus tracks! Didn't feel it was necessary. I topped OCR's project album track count too so be happy and not disappointed because there is nothing in this album not to like!

Just want to mention as well...USUALLY the last disc on an album is always the best, especially in video game soundtracks. I agree Disc 4 is the best, but that's also because most of those tracks were ending themes. Emunator did a fantastic job putting the playlist together. Everything blends great.

  2. I planned on the Chiptune show, but I was in line waiting for Nobuo's signature. Not complaining about that part, but overall I wasn't happy with the schedule this year. Too many things were going on at the same time. Missed too much. I'm sure everyone felt that way right?

D-Lux's story - I guess that happened after you left Aaron & I in the Nobuo line, right?

  3. So I don't think I should write a list of everything I experienced because I would go on forever and probably forget a few things, but at least share some highlights.

I love the fact Nobuo ate my voice at The Earthbound Papas concert. Dancing Mad is my FAVORITE VG SONG EVER so congrats on stealing my voice. Progress on getting it back: 80%. Most of us had a dream of always meeting him so I'm glad I got that accomplished. Thanks MAGFest for that! Now all we need is Yasunori Mitsuda at next MAG!

Something I also could never forget is how hard I tried to get drunk before the OCR panel because I had to speak about the Wild Arms project. Thanks Doug & Michelle, love you. <3 Because of that though, great times were had at the Metroid Metal concert...still don't remember anything that was played, but was tempted a few times going up on stage. Maybe if I had 2 more drinks in me, I would've done it. :lmassoff: I also took a lot of great pictures during that concert. Thinking it was the alcohol that did it. Thanks djp for letting me speak at the panel, even if I sobered up 15 mins before I had to get up there. :whatevaa: It was a wonderful experience watching Wesley (Bahamut) be a drunk person too! I remember trying to take care of him....Heh.

I connected a lot with Jarel (Arrow), Chris (Velocifero) & Aaron (Global-Trance) this MAG. A lot of deep conversations were had. I'm not going through PMD as bad as I did last year, but I am heartbroken I can't hang with a lot of you IRL more often. The goal is definitely Otakon now. It was a pleasure finally meeting Lizz and hope she comes back next MAG so we can hang more often. Luke was also a fun sight to see. Definitely come back too!

I think what was easier on me was staying a few more days after MAG ended. What Velocifero said, it's like ripping off a band-aid. Therefore, I appreciate Stevo and Val welcoming me to their beautiful home and great dog to have even better times. The best time there was playing Rayman Origins & Bomberman multi-player. I haven't had that much fun since I was a little girl. I don't remember the last time I constantly smiled and laughed the way I did this past week. Only MAG does this to me, even if all of us got 3-4 hours of sleep per day. THE MAPLE COOKIES WERE ALSO GOOD. 8) We also went somewhere called Ginza. Deia, Andrew, Wesley, Aaron, Chris, Greg, Katie, Ari, Stevo, Val, & I all went and it was worth every penny for the 5 course meal. It is the best meal experience I've ever had.

Another thing was hanging out at Brushfire's place with a whole crew a day before MAG. His wife made some delicious burgers so thanks for going out of your way for us!

To those who have never been to MAG, jealous of MAG or just refuse to go to MAG because you think it isn't worth the money - you're wrong. Start saving money now for the next one and you won't be sorry. Everyone will welcome and accept you. There is nothing like it. No words can explain the experience. Just do it.

  4. 53 tracks and not a single Alone in The World remix? Or Lone Bird In The Shire?

    WAT

Migratory Bird of the Wilderness (Rudy's Theme) IS Lone Bird in the Shire. It's on Disc 3, track 15 by Ergosonic.

No Alone in the World remix made me depressed and sad that it couldn't be covered. 4 different people claimed it and never got done because of several different reasons. Sorry to disappoint a few people regarding that, but the project had to get released on the 15th anniversary. That was much more important to everyone, especially to me.

  5. Got my pre-reg done just before the 16th. So, good to go. Lookin' forward to seeing ya all there - and don't forget to drop by the Bad Dudes panel! It's the first year we have our own panel, and will be discussing the new Metroid album, other projects in the works, how we go about making a remix project... some pretty cool stuff.

Great to hear you're going! Hope you went last year, but I bet this next MAG will be better!

  6. One of my dreams come true that this is up at OCR after 11 years. The Batman song doesn't even count to be completely honest. Stephen is far from that now. If you guys can find the PMM albums online, get it and take a listen! I also have all the official copies. I can always share it.

I e-mailed Stephen about his post so hopefully he drops in to say hi.

  7. Alright, we need to cancel this project. It's just too big and too good. People can't handle this. It's just... too much. We'll get sued for making people's head explode

(especially after BadAss just kicked everyones ass :P)

LOVE this. You're too sweet. <3 This is one of the best comments I've received.

Just to clarify, its by Emunator AND by Vilecat (she took care of the background image, which is also going to be used for the website). Credit where credit is due!

WHOOPS, SORRY. SORRY. Didn't realize....My bad. :/ Will edit now....

I still find it pretty hilarious that you went with my super-silly joke for the album title.

Of course I did! lol It wasn't a joke to me, it sounded great!

    Gun LOLsters... wow nice!

I like the album title, I've just never understood why dangerous is capitalized DANGerous. I understand ARMed, but not DANGerous. Is there something behind that, or was it just capitalized for continuity with ARMed?

The LOL thing came from a douche bag who picked on me on another thread a couple years back for using "lol" and other things happened too. He got banned because he got carried away with me and bLiNd for no reason whatsoever. He just felt like trolling someone and didn't realize who I was and messed up. He can go straight to hell for all I care. I'M THE ONE WITH THE FINISHED PROJECT. =) teehee.

The caps is just the purpose of matching it with ARMed. Just looks kool and unique.
