  1. I made some minor mistakes, but at least it is an idea for an arrangement. Any input on playing and/or piano tone much appreciated. http://soundcloud.com/farmintheback/the-moon-theme-piano-cover The Cuervo Gold The fine Colombian Make tonight a wonderful thing!

  3. Here is a very quick recording I made to try out the new version of PianoTeq; sorry if I messed up the melodies here and there. Thoughts about the sound of the piano, anyone? Input would be much appreciated! https://sites.google.com/site/valspamysingen/mp3/pianotest.mp3?attredirects=0&d=1
  4. Any input much appreciated! YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwpInfQEJJM (Tried uploading in HD this time around; hopefully somewhat less ruined audio?) mp3: https://sites.google.com/site/pianodemos/files/windfall_island_theme.mp3
  5. ProtoDome: I realize this arrangement is not perfect by any means, but I like to keep songs the way I recorded them live, and move on to something else. Please let me know if you come up with another interpretation of this theme. ShadowBlade: Race cars, lasers, aeroplanes - it's a duck blur!
  6. I was wondering if anyone has good advice to share when it comes to making your YouTube clips sound as good as possible? Which format, bitrate and sample rate do you use? Any input much appreciated!
  7. ProtoDome, Nase and ShadowBlade: Thank you so much for your very helpful feedback! To eliminate the possibility that some/all of the audio problems in the video are related to the YouTube conversion, I decided to upload an mp3 instead: https://sites.google.com/site/pianodemos/files/moon_theme.mp3 The problem with hissing and distortion is one that frustrates me. The piano I used for this recording was PianoTeq, which is based on physical modelling rather than sampling. If you do not tweak it exactly right, it seems to cause a lot of weird audio effects, at least in some speakers/headphones. Anyway. I also turned on PianoTeq's internal limiter and normalized the clip. So; did any issues get resolved? If not, do you have any specific recommendations on what could be done eq- or compressor-wise? Again, thank you so much!
  8. Would be especially interested in getting feedback on the tone of the digital piano I used for this cover. Sorry I did not record a proper video. Enjoy and thanks. EDIT: Mp3 here: https://sites.google.com/site/pianod...moon_theme.mp3 ... and original, lofi YouTube link here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYvVDCbhAjU
