Ah OC Remix.. where not only the music is remixed, but the album art as well!
Shoot, put them ALL in, I don't care! Just hoping it makes it out this month. Hyped for it.

So I've been told that this post will be the 100th page in the thread, so here I am.
The album is slated to come out next month. We're looking at the music being finalized this upcoming Sunday, and then the final prep on OCR's side starts.

Oh, yeah, it's fine. I'm not holding anybody to anything...I know that stuff happens, and I completely understand why you guys aren't giving a date.
I've been tracking this for a while, but don't think I'm being nasty about it or anything. I'm just REALLY looking forward to this.

How far back was it pushed? A few days? A few weeks?
They aren't giving specific answers. I'm going to guess a few months. I could be wrong, but I'm hoping to see something by Feb. If not, then, well, we'll just have to wait longer.

The previews are hyping me up for this! I love that Tunnel Rhino song in Preview 3...and I don't usually like that in my game music.

Oh, it looks like I forgot to mention - a few days ago, Washudoll gave me the final wav for Boomer Kuwanger! I love this song, and Washudoll's work on the album period. This is the song he wanted to claim originally, so wait until you guys get to hear it
.Washudoll's work is AMAZING. I still play that SF2010 album near daily on my rotation.

There's nothing set in stone last I heard - there's still 5 albums queued up currently, and that doesn't include others in the pipeline.

I'm not sure when the release will be, but it will be before April I hope before I ship out to boot camp.
It could be that the first preview track was clipped from an mp3. I don't remember when I did each one so it's hard to say. The guitar isn't a sample though, that's him playing
Oops! Poor choice of words; I meant "first preview". And...APRIL?! I don't want to sound ungrateful, but this wait is KILLING me. And it gets bumped to "before APRIL?!" OUCH. I know you guys are doing the best you can...I can't WAIT to have that Blizzard Buffalo pumping out of my speakers...that's my most anticipated track PERIOD.

Thanks, Bahamut! Yeah, I have some of his songs already...the X-Men vs. SF and the Garuda songs are my favs from that bunch.
The reason I am asking is because the first sample seems a little heavier on the guitar than the final preview sample. Did he change it or am I just hearing things (because I liked the version with the heavy guitar best), or is it just different parts of the song I am hearing and nothing has changed?
Are we still on-track for a Jan release?

Washu, the job you did on that album is just breathtaking. I'm still in awe every time I hear it. You managed to hit all 5 of my favorite tracks and did the complete justice.

I registered for this website just so I could comment on this. I've been waiting for a major project like this, and the preview sounds kick ass! That Blizzard Buffalo part has me the most hyped up for this!
