  1. Well.. yeah, it was a mash-up It was a track from an album I did, this track I basically cut the theme up and rearranged it all, and added other samples and sounds to it, just thought someone might be interested in it since its video game music I'll be giving remixing a proper go, maybe not with this track but a brand new one, I'm interested in video game music and there's a few I'd like to remix. But thanks for the advice anyway.
  2. Hi everyone. I guess this is my first video/computer game remix, not intentionally, but oh well I'm guilty It's a remix of the Valve logo intro from Half Life 1 and 2. It's mostly sampled and there are a couple of other game samples here and there, hope you all enjoy: http://soundcloud.com/loose-link/loose-link-ghost-protocol
  3. Hello everyone, I am a starting Electronic/Sound Collage musician from New Zealand. Recently I have finished my very first album, and have released it for free through a net label. It's called "Random Proportions", 12 tracks all mixed together to form a 57 minute almost continuous mix: "Debut release from Loose Link, a sound collage artist from New Zealand. Random Proportions is a collection of hip-hop breaks, cut'n'paste samples, audio collages and unconnected sounds connected. Instead of pasting together samples and loops into pop songs, a la The Avalanches and RJD2, Loose Link arranges them into thick, layered soundscapes, morphing voices, beats and orchestras into a blanket of comforting chaos which owes as much to ambient as it does hip-hop and breakbeat. Random Proportions features input from Second Thought and Shinning Dove." 01. Hey Hey You Hey 02. Nanolightning 03. I Remember Many Things 04. Ghost Protocol 05. Unanswered 06. Supercollider 07. There are a few video/computer game samples here and there, especially on one track Criticism and feedback welcomed, honesty helps growth.
