What I'm personally most worried about is that can he pull off a believable performance and have the authority and commanding presence of Batman- at least in the movies that I've seen him in, he's played quite the opposite characters. I kind of can see him in the role of Bruce Wayne, but a seasoned, hard-boiled fighter of crime... not so much. Haven't seen Daredevil, though. How did he pull it off there?
Also the actor's voice is a big part of making Batman believable, and while I'm looking forwards to what he can give us, I also fear that his voice lacks... balls.
j/k but Keaton and Bale set the bar pretty high.

On the other hand, if I agree with Anita, I'm going to demand equality, be outraged, and act on it.
What is equality for you in this case, and when has it been achieved? What I'd like to see is how much would have to change in the gaming community/culture at large so people like Anita would be happy. Personally, I doubt there will ever be a day when a state of equality has been achieved in her mind.

If anyone else believes that Bleck has made individual points that do deserve addressing & make sense, please let me know specifically what they are, and I've got no problem responding to them, but from where I'm sitting he's just repeating himself and not actually reading what I'm saying...
About half year ago I noticed bleck in this thread looking for posts and people to call sexist. Looks like not much has changed. It feels like the only intent of his posts is to twist and turn things around until he can go 'yea see you're sexist'...

Well it's one of my favorites from the game so I am excited to hear your version, I'm sorry the song wasn't open
BUT! RiverSound is going to be making an incredible celtic version of it that will also be really good when it's done... the more the merrier, in the end! 
Oh god, I can read between the lines "dis riverboy had better do a good remix or else..."
It's not positive yet that my song ends up traditionally celtic, but one thing's for sure, it'll be filled with live instruments and authentic atmosphere. -

This is one of those albums that calls for a track-by-track review. Mine should be coming this weekend. I really liked Chernabogue's review, agreed with him on a lot of points.
I hope the artists visit these review threads often. I wouldn't bother complimenting people's songs if I knew they're not even interested. The feedback given by fans, IMO, is an important part of projects like this, and of course for all musicians looking to develop their skills.

Did one of these guys make the 20 minute thing way back when (or is that on FFII, or completely tossed aside)? Been wondering what's happened to that arrangement (I don't get on FB a lot so I might've missed some updates), but after listening to the four part "Omen" behemoth a lot on Balance and Ruin I was reminded about this particular lengthy FF arrangement.
Totally me.
...or not. I'm not that good, I'm just a noob. Making a super-long arrangement is beyond me.

This song is what I've been waiting for- it's emotionally invested and faithful to the original song. I've listened to the 16-bit Coin Song for years since there hasn't really been a worthy remix of it... up until now.
I remember shedding a manly tear to the sheer emotional awesomeness of the scene in the game while the original song is playing. Stevo knew how to do it justice.
Also, finishing with the other theme is a perfect way to tie the story arc together in a single song.
A simple flip can change fate.

The trailer was epic! But since it's getting a praise overload from other people already, I'll balance the scales by saying that I actually didn't find some of the songs chosen for it to be that interesting.
Now I love the big production and everything, the songs didn't sound bad... But I wish there had been more emphasis on the most iconic themes.
I missed Setzer's theme, overworld themes(the Terra theme was there, though), Cyan's theme, Shadow's theme etc. I may be alone on this one, but I'm a fanboy and wanted more of the epic character themes!
I'm sure it'll be worth the wait when the whole thing comes out, though.Ps. A question for someone who worked on the album, is the Coin Song in there? It's a terrible mistake to think that it's just a lame copy of Edgar's theme, I mean, it has a beautiful soul of it's own... Surely it's been remixed?

Certainly, if you want to have the music posted as apart of the flood - just be sure to specify that it's a part of the album in the e-mail.
I thought the flood mixes don't have to be submitted to the panel in the regular way? Or does the flood consist of songs that have already been submitted&yes'd by the panel?
Just asking because I remember hearing once that flood mixes are chosen by the album director and sent directly to djp who has the final say on the matter, hence bypassing the traditional submitting&judges panel procedures...

Also remember 'leagues' mean nothing. You have a hidden MMR that is exactly like the old Elo system. That's what is actually used. It is possible to stay in Bronze V (by dodging your promotion series) and eventually raise your MMR to the point where you are matched against Platinum players - people have done this and it is concrete proof that the League system has no impact on who you get matched against.

I'm still sick of losing more lp points from a defeat than what I get from a victory, though... I'm in silver 3, dammit... cut me some slack.
Talking about Sejuani, my friend started using her after rework and I freaking loved her ganks when solo laning. The rework made her very much equal with other initiator tanks.
... And now they're nerfing her hard. "Northern winds Bonus maximum Health ratio reduced to 10% from 16%." Kind of a BIG hit along with the duration of her CC reducing. Is it really called for? What do you think? Was she not underused before, let alone now?

What characters are you referring to? I've seen a handful of his movies and none of them fit the description. (armageddon, pearl harbor, argo, that silly comedy/drama...)
One thing to note is that in this movie the Batman is apparently supposed to be older&much more experienced than Superman. So we're not talking an "origin story" Batman who is just starting out and enthusiastic, but a more wise&gritty one. A seasoned warrior. So it's a pretty damn tall order to meet.
