  1. Hi,

I am working on a huge project, which is to recreate the original japanese BS-X broadcast of BSZelda: Ancient Stone Tablets into dubbed English. We already succeeded with BSZelda1:

    http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2016/07/japan-exclusive_satellaview_zelda_game_gets_translated_and_dubbed_into_english

Just as you see in the video:

same needs to be done in AST.

    Original Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCX8vfUDSWU

    We have:
    - Voice actings (thanks to all lending their voices: Erock, Smash, Kira, Daniel, Onay...)
    - music backbone (thanks to Trovsky)
    - the hack (thanks to... myself Razz )

So basically left is the merging (voices with bgm) project, it needs to be done this way:

    - Each actor has his own track, the volume of each track must be equalized as the actors handed in records with different global volume (decibel)

    - some of the records need to be filtered (they have excellent quality, only some have a click of record end as far I hear)

    - the background music needs to be dropped when somebody is talking. This is done by making a copy of the bgm, lower the volume and cut it in at the time when somebody is talking

The project is kind of huge (we have 4 hours in total of music). Is here anybody motivated and skilled to help us out? ...Please! :)

If you are interested, you can reply here or contact me directly at con.s@gmx.de

    Thanks!

  2. Hi,

I already posted a thread with a request for remastering a theme of bszelda:

    http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=41541

Thanks to FirebrandX, we now have the theme. Our desire is now to ingame it to the rom, and therefore we need to convert this theme to spc:

Does anybody know a program that is capable doing this (mp3,wav,midi to spc?).

    Thanks a lot,

    Conn

  3. Hi,

I am from the BS Zelda Homepage (http://bszelda.zeldalegends.net/) and we are trying to recreate the original satellite broadcast as perfect as possible. One project we aim at is the voice acting. While emulating the game, you listen to a mp3 in the background telling the story just as it was broadcasted over satellite.

To recreate the voice acting as original as possible we miss some music tracks. There have been attempts by FirebrandX who was able to remaster some tracks from videos we have from the original gameplay, e.g.,

The technique he used was to look for phrases in the game where no one is speaking and he did a quite great job!

However, one of the most important music tracks must be remastered from scratch, because whenever this special music is played, there is almost always voice covering it which makes it impossible to cut and paste the music together.

One of the music tracks that we'd need is here:

Forward the time to 14:40, you will see some japanese letters covering the screen until 15:16. We'd need that music played recreated without any voices as original as possible.

Also we'd need some voice actors that will speak as the narrator, Zelda or whomever
