So does anyone else feel like this is absolutely pathetic? Borderline same size, less features, not particularly even cooler looking... just to save like $40? Right as the Wii U comes out? Might as well just buy a decent used Wii for $50 or less and be done with it. I feel like this is the dumbest thing Nintendo has done since the Virtual Boy.

The writing is fairly slow for the first 5 or so episodes, but it picks up pretty well. And during season 2 (Episode 11+, the Namek Saga) it is just brilliant.
I do have to say my favourite string of episodes was Namekima-I mean the Ginyus.
I'll have to give it a try then, I was starting to give up on anime parodies in general, since the first one I found was the yu gi oh one and feel kinda spoiled by that.

Definitely a good parody, but I'm still partial to yu gi oh the abridged series even though I was never a huge fan of the show. I just thinkg Little Kuriboh is really talented. Maybe I just need to give TFS more of a chance, I only got through about half a dozen episodes.

(P.S....I've never liked Rare games, but I think Star Fox Adventures was the best game they made.)

Oh, but yea, Uematsu's music and collaborations are undoubtedly some of the best examples of how music in videogames can be as powerful as the music in any other medium.

For the first few moments, I wasn't getting a great feeling, but once the game was "launched" wow that was awesome. I'd definitely play it.

I was over on GeekyRobot and the site just posted two clips found on Yahoo. Honestly, I got a chill watching the 2nd clip. Not 100% sure why though. Maybe the movie won't be as bad as most people think. At the same time though, I wouldn't walk into the theater expecting a live action remake of the amine itself. How many times would someone want to see the same thing over and over?
Definitely not bad, but I'm sad, I was hoping I'd feel whatever you did from the clips... nada.

I'd say your best beat is online or yardsales.
Yardsale hunting with a buddy for good old video games can actually be fun. Got an extra SNES with 2 controllers in the box and some random game for like $5 that way.

Yea. Music. Interesting characters that don't seem like they're from a bad saturday morning cartoon. Good story/writing and driven plot.

I want to see a new amped up version of Blast Corps. A modern sequel maybe. That game was awesome with astonishing replay and a fucking immaculate soundtrack.
I miss Blast Corps... and Rare.

Sadly I don't remix, but I definitely am in full favor of a Wild Arms project. One of my favorite video game OSTs. I'd love to see this happen.

I really don't want to go through 50 or more pages of the thread to find the link, but what was the website that was doing a dark story of mario and the mushroom kingdom. The guys working on it had a single episode done at the time. Was mostly following luigi's perspective.

Well fuck, I decided to just do it and use the coupon to get a 360 for $250, but the coupon won't register. For some reason the one to get $50 off the elite does, but the one for the regular 60gb does nothing. The site said it would work through Monday, so I assumed it would work all day Monday...

Just saw the movie last night. Loved it. Couldn't agree more with what NNY said. If you haven't seen it yet, you should. Maybe you'll end up being in the group of people that hate it, but if not you're in for a real treat.

You not only ripped a character that nearly everyone on this Earth is familiar with, you maintain the audacity to claim originality in the face of said peeps who know better. One or two people going "Hmmmm" about your Sweet Tooth and I can see why you'd be defensive... EVERYBODY telling you the same thing and there is no excuse for you NOT to get the hint!
I strongly advise against you charging money for others to see this movie. DC will have your financial ass raped repeatedly!
Better yet, I strongly advise against releasing this movie without invoking the Alan Smithee effect. Should you ever decide to release a quality film, this one is gonna haunt you if you don't.
Dude stop being an asshole. He's in film school. He's making some movie projects. I don't think he intends this to be shown at theaters around the country and charge people for it.
Oh, and POCKETMAN, get it up somewhere so we can watch it!

The basic technique, is down b, then hold down on the control stick and mash up on the c stick quickly and repeatedly.
No matter how much I try, I can't seem to add more than a second to his down b by doing this

Absolutely agree, I saw commercials for this and thought it was gonna be one of the dumbest movies of the year, when it turned out to be the exact opposite. Definitely see it in 3d and Imax if you can. My roommate had to convince me to go, and if it didn't get a 98% on rotten tomatoes I doubt I would have. Very worth it to see in theaters I think.
