Street Fighter 2 - Ryu's Theme Orchestral Imagined By Peshtiwar Botani
https://youtu.be/xhliI8e_i8YOriginal composer: Yoko Shimomura
Track: Street Fighter 2 - Ryu's Theme
Orchestral Imagined: Peshtiwar BotaniHere is my imagination of how Ryu's Theme could sound like in an orchestral setting. Everything is done by ear, I added some of my own stuff too.
If you ask me I'm improving again, I did mess up a little and the volume balancing could be better but this is a huge step in the right direction.
Take this for a spin!

Track - Sonic 2 - Emerald Hill Zone
Original Composer - Masato Nakamura
Cover Made By - Peshtiwar BotaniI usually focus on orchestral music, so this is something I usually don't do. It's an attempt of the style of Tee Lopes/Sonic Mania, I don't think it's great but I don't think it sucks either.
Also I noticed that I transcribed the first 3 notes of the melody wrong and had to fix it and re-upload, the brass is also better programmed now.
In my opinion it's like half way there. I have done an attempt like this in the past that is way worse in my opinion.
I will most definitely make more attempts of this track when I get better at this style, I consider this more of a practice right now.

Track: Sonic the Hedgeog - Green Hill Zone
Probably my best orchestration to date, the aim was to make things really dynamic and play around a lot with emotions.
It's not supposed to be an epic track where everything is loud all the time.
Sonic and Green Hill Zone means a lot to me, I have actually made orchestrations of Green Hill Zone before and it's on my Covers playlist.
In my opinion this is my best version and I did it completely by ear, there's a chance that something is wrong but I tried.

Track: FF7: Let the Battles Begin
Consider this my first attempt of making an orchestral cover of this track, I love this track a lot and will probably give it another go in a couple of years when I get better. I do think I did a good job overall, some things could be improved, this musical growth is so rewarding.

I'm not too proud of this and some things are rushed because of deadlines, especially the ending but well here goes nothing. I did however discover a lot of new things that I can use in future tracks!

Thanks for listening!
there’s a bunch I could improve, expand and experiment with. Unfortunately lack of time and a combination of deadlines made it impossible.
In general I have to be pretty fast and trust me I know how all this sounds.
I will most likely make another version maybe in 1-2 years.

By far my best orchestration to date, of course it's not perfect but a great step forward.

This genre is a blast, there's a lot to improve since this is a genre I'm not used to but I think it's a step in the right direction.
Inspired by Sonic Mania and Tee Lopes. Take it for a spin!

Original Composer - Masato Nakamura
Cover made by: Peshtiwar BotaniTrack: Sonic 2 - Mystic Cave Zone
I decided to try something new, a different genre.
This track is inspired by the sound of Sonic Mania and the composer Tee Lopes. I loved exploring this genre and honestly think this cover came out nice.
As always I love this music journey and I love exploring new things musically.

This FLP + MIDI is only for educational purposes, please don’t repost it as your own. The FLP should function flawlessly if you’re using the same libraries and plugins I use, however underneath you will see a list of the libraries I used to make this orchestration. I also used Kontakt 5 to make this.
Keys - The Giant (Piano), Cineharps (Concert Harp, Harp 2, Harp 3), Celesta (Kontakt Factory Library), Marimba (Kontakt Factory Library), Xylophone (Kontakt Factory Library)
Strings - Cinematic Strings 2, Metropolis Ark 1, Fluid Shorts, Jaeger
Brass - Jaeger, Metropolis Ark 1, 8Dio Century Brass Ensemble
Choir - Metropolis Ark 1, Oceania
Woodwinds - Metropolis Ark 1, Albion 1, Spitfire BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover
Sololists - Tina Guo Cello Legato
Percussion - 8Dio Epic Dhol, 8Dio Epic Toms, Rhapsody Orchestral Percussion (Timpani, Snare, Cymbals & Gongs)
I also have iZotope Ozone 8 and OTT on the master.
There’s a chance I missed mentioning using a library since orchestral projects can become quite large. I’m only human, hopefully this is helpful.
Take care
Peshtiwar
