  1. Hey man, its probably me who bought it too early... the link was actually up on your site yesterday, just as a placeholder I assume, but it was still there. I just went to it as soon as i got up this morning, wanting something to listen to in the car lol.

I havent had a thorough listen yet but I think the influence of BT's Binary Universe is quite clear in a few tracks, which makes them all the better. The title track is one of the standouts, it introduces everything so well, and has a wonderful atmosphere, like most of the rest of the cd.

It's definately more cohesive than past albums and works well as a whole because of it.

  2. I wouldnt use them as a jumpoff but psilodump and binaerpilot are excellent(thx for the orange dust recommendation red, sounds like good stuff).

I cant single anyone out more than Daft Punk. They tend to master whatever they try. Obviously Discovery is their best known album, but I like Homework just as much.

Obviously our OCR electronic makers, SGX and Beatdrop, have some amazing stuff.

Um, a lot of the other recommendations here are good ones, but i'd

love to hear G-T's suggestions, I feel like going back into Trance.

  3. yeah mine broke about 6 months ago around 3 weeks after warranty ran out so I finally got around to calling them and its only costing 170 Canadian to get it fixed which isn't bad considering how much it was supposed to cost to repair my old ps2 a few years back

Theirs good and bad to it though the bad is that it's refurbished which I Guess isn't that bad

The good news is a get a fresh one year warranty

I don't think you do get a fresh warranty for refurbs, unless they've changed that policy due to complaints.

  4. Er, I doubt tekken 6 will leave Sony exclusivity unless the PS3 goes WAY downhill. It's always been the PlayStation flagship fighter. You're right that the others are confirmed though.

As for Banjo 3, if Kameo was anything to go by, Rare havent lost their touch quite yet.

  5. Street Fighter III: Third Strike

A very solid fighter, perfect for Capcom fans, but very difficult... I haven't got itnto it, I just dont have the time, but what I have played of it was awesome. Yes.

    Metropolis Street Racer

Predecessor to PGR, and most of know how good PGR is. I think they made some better ideas with this one that were lost to make the game easier *not keeping your previous kudos if you do worse in the retry* but thats part of this one's extra challenge. Yes.

    Metroid Prime 2: Echoes

Im gonna say No. It was an excellent premise but I just wasnt engaged by it at any point. Maybe it's just a personal preference, but no all the same.

    Mario Kart DS

Ugh, could have been brilliant, but the snaking culture ruins it. No.

  6. Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves

I'm 99% sure you mean Garou, and its a definite Yes from me, as it does some interesting things and is generally pretty solid as a fighter.

    Skies of Arcadia

It saddens me that the GC version has effectively usurped the original. I adored this game, and would love to yes it, but I feel we cant because of the (slightly) improved GC version. Mind you, the PAL version of Legends is something i can't find.

    Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

No. Same old same old. I cannot bring myself to care about this.

I havent played Midway Arcade Treasures, but would like to nominate the 2 Taito Legends games for Xbox/PS2/PC. Some amazing and wholly underrated games in both of them, moreso the 2nd one.

    Mario Party 5

Can't yes this, Mario Party was sadly already getting unoriginal at this point. So No.

    Resident Evil 4

Fairly obvious yes, i'd say. Refreshing and impressive turnaround for the Resi series.

    Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney

One of the only games that I have been truly glued to in the past 3 years. Definite yes, as its compulsive storytelling at its best.

    Project Justice(DC)

Loved the original, this is just as good, if even weirder. Solid fighting mechanics. Not 3d, more like 2.5d. Pretty much what you'd expect from a Capcom fighter. Yes.

    SSX3

Hmm. Borderline yes, if only because its not overly changed from its predecessors or indeed its successors, but its still a very engaging and enjoyable snowboarding game.

  7. Broken: rugal <3

    Arek: zero </3

But yeah, I get your point Broken, I'm like you in that I think Arcade modes should be retailored to be non-cheap (hooray for making up words), much like 3d fighters are going, by using japanese arcade data for their computer controlled characters.

  8. Haha, "I've done handcuffed lightning" was a strange change from "I'm faster than lightning", I must say. Still better than Lau coughing through everything he says, though...

As for Card Fighters, if its even CLOSE to the NGPC original, im definately buying it.
