I think it's pretty good.

Really? How come the main themes sound the same then? O_o;; (BTW, there's a remix based on the American Present theme in progress in the WIP board ).
That's because in the Japanese version the timezone themes are remixes of each other.

I didn't like the remix. It just didn't hold true to the "awesome" reviews it was getting. A sax doesn't do this song justice. I'm sorry, but the remix wasn't really worth my time. The Hidden Palace music was taken waaaay too fast for my liking, and no beat makes for a no-brainer.
Keep it into your opinion... first you say it doesn't deserve any praise, but all the reasons you came up with are just a matter of opinion. This is a remix site, and although I like remixes that sound just like the original (Golden Axe "Golden Axe 2002", for example), I think "remixes" are by definition a new take on things.

It's ZANY! I lurv this remix! 1/3 of my base are belong to Rabbit Joint!

It says "abran las orejas."
Yeah... it's "abran las orejas". It's funny...
I always liked the original, and this ReMix is a interesting view on it.

I liked the sound samples... but again it's just me. I just happen to like sound samples.

I really like this. Amazing.
it deserves...
Three smileys, a Cool award and an arrow!

RIES FROM UR GRAEV1!11
Hey kick ass mix! nice repetition of "RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE"- man i'm gonna be playing this over and over. tehe
This one makes me smile whenever I listen to it
I'm playing this over and over already
What's next: a boss music remix with that corny "WELCOME TO YOUR DOOM" quote from Evil-Zordon... err, I mean... what's the name of that guy?

Ok, let's see here...
I have two versions of the MM2 intro remix. This one by Injury, and the other one called "Opening Distraught" by Penopticon. I find Injury's remix so much more appealing, since it includes the "scaling the building" music and the teleporting sequence, as it is in the original soundtrack.
The thing I like about the intro scaling music Injury remixed is that it sounds innocent, in a way, and when it finishes, it goes into a really upbeat, fast movement. Once it reaches the end, and I hear the teleporting sequence go, that just takes me into "nostalgia" land. This remix actually makes me want to pull out my cartridge of MM2 and play it right away (and hook up those old NES RF adapters? I think NOT!)
Great remix, Injury! Keep up the good work, I hope to see more rockin' remixes from you.
That's what I would like to say, x-cept that I did not listen to "Opening Distraught" yet

Hehe, I played this song to my mother, and she said it sounded like a Christmas song... I guess she liked it
-
oh yes..... this is good.... it makes mouths happy!
Totally agreed. In matters of making me smile, this is one of the best, second only to djpretzel's "Altered Beast Resurrection by Breakbeat".

Hidden Palace turned good? The Sonic game music I liked the least, turned into one of my favorite mixes?
Not much of an accomplishment (not leebro's fault, but mine), but an accomplishment nonetheless

One of my Big Time Favorites!
Excellent work, will make it to my special -for personal use only- CD.
I'm always lacking words and musical knowledge to describe the awesomeness of this remix

Blast Hornet never was my favorite Maverick in MMX3 (that goes to Crush Crawfish). Blast Hornet's theme wasn't one of my favorites, either (I used to prefer Gravity Beetle and Toxic Seahorse).
This ReMix turned the tables, I've never thought Blast Hornet's theme could become so AWESOME. Great work. I hope to see more cool MMX remixes like this.

This remix owns totally.
It is one of my favorites. It's not my 1 Favorite only because the competition is tough.

By taking off the small melodic part, Jivemaster removed half of the impact the original had IMO. Good thing he made enough of the other half to make up for it.
Not the mix I am waiting for, but it IS excellent stuff.
