  1. Mmm, as Orkybash as already mentioned, this mix never really goes anywhere. It's something fantastic to listen to, though, when you're down in the dumps, and just want something smooth to listen to. Regarding the title, it's not very energetic in the dancing sense - Though, it is something can could be romantically danced to. I can just see a group of couples romantically dancing to it. What really bothers me, though, is the lack of a bassline. Maybe some beautiful pizzicato strings could do the job.

It's truely a tough decision, but NO. This mix leaves something to be desired, as mentioned before.

  2. This mix is absolutely beautiful, enough said. The first minute seems to be my favorite part, and I love how the strings build up. Dale really does a great job building such a great atmosphere. I don't know how he does it. Another point of interest are the pianos scattered throughout the piece. I love that filter he has over them - I just love it. There's nothing bad I can say about this mix, no matter how hard I try. Good stuff ^^

  3. Nice to be hearing from Mr. Pordon again.

First off, this is an excellent mix. The subtle intro smoothly introduces you into some nice heavier juice. My only complaint about this mix is during the heavier parts. The way the percussion is panned natural just doesn't work well with my ears. Panning the kick hard left and the snare hard right just doesn't work for me :) Other than that, it's great. Nothing else I can complain about. Good work :)

  4. As Legion mentioned, this mix could use some mastering. The volume levels are just too low. Besides that, Sonic Blade uses excellent panning in this mix. Nice, beautiful orchestral intro. Something I sure do like. At 1:38, drums come in... Okay, this is something I'm going to have to bitch about. I dislike the drums. I personally think they ruined the majority of the ReMix. The drums are way too over-accentuated. Technically, the samples used are pretty damn nice. Though, at times, they sound fake in how they're used. Particulary the open hi-hat when it does it's triplet thing. And, the only crash cymbal used is panned hard left. That just makes the right channel dull/less exciting. The drums should have been a more laid back.. They take the stage and strings are buried. Sonic Blade shows a lot of potential here. Nice job with the strings.

  5. To start off, the intro is pretty mediocre. The lack of panning creates a lack of depth. At about 1:04 stuff improves. I sense more depth - I become more attached to this mix. Though, at 1:20, the mix goes boom. That flute hurts. Hurts a lot. At 1:52, the guitar is nice, but it becomes jangled with the piano. Again, no panning here. The strings, piano, and guitar are all center panned. It's beautiful, though, when the guitar goes solo. Then, at 3:00, it starts to sound like a porn groove (but less sexy). Eventually, the distortion guitar comes in. It's pretty nice, but it lacks dynamics. Overall, a mediocre mix. Could easily be improved simply by panning. Too many instruments mangle with each other in that center channel.

  6. It.... cuts off.... suddenly, abruptly, in such a manner that I expect in regards to an MP3 that didn't get downloaded all the way. At 3:02, it just stops, mid note, mid melody. Yet the download page also agrees that 3:02 (well, the download pages says 3:03...) is the length of the track! What gives here?

I was all set to give a gloriously gushing positive review to this, since I LOVE what I've heard so far... but... it cuts off! That's just wrong!

You're joking! Hmm... I just downloaded it from OCR, and it sounds just the way I submitted it. Nothing cuts off, nothing! It's a mystery.
