Multiquence (a sequencer in the GoldWave family) offers unlimited tracks, and like Goldwave, has an evaluation period. It allows DirectX filters and even video mixing (for both audio and video tracks), if you're into that type of thing. Link is http://www.goldwave.com/ I checked out Sk@le - basically it's a tracker in the same vein as FastTracker II (only for windows). It's still in Beta at the moment, and is lacking much functionality, but it looks like being rather powerful once it is complete.
