  1. Yes, I'm back again. So far, I'm batting 500 with this kind of thing over the last year. The first hunt was successful ("Jessica" by the Allman Brothers as Rexy said), and the second fell flat (no matches anywhere). I'm hoping to get bumped up to a .666 average with this one. So yeah, here's my third one. It's been in my head for a few days, and it is incredibly familiar... so much so that I'm certain I should know it well. So, here's a link to the music file... https://www.dropbox.com/s/g3s9mr4j2n1xb5i/unknown_song_3.mp3?dl=0 I'm 99% certain it's not a game tune, and that it's a published and well known song that features this little melody in it. A part of me wants to link it to a piece of some rockish song, where the melody is used before a verse or something, but I'm not sure. Either way, it's driving me nuts. I've tried Midomi (it can record the music playing from my DAW, which I didn't know) and Musipedia, but they came up empty (Musipedia had lots classical matches, but none of them seemed right). Can anyone identify this bit of music? Pweeeeeaaaaase?
