Yoozer
Lots of networking. Do some open source/freeware game soundtracks for free. Have a big portfolio. Lots more of networking; composers are an established work force and companies don't switch for the fun of it. Also, a completely Flash-based website is impossible to index by search engines so if you want your tracks and name out there, I'd change that. Katsurugi
with a hammer! But seriously, it's the same with any other business. The people you know, what skills you have available and seizing opportunities when they arise. Of course it's always much easier said than done. I prefer my way better. Hammers are fairly cheap and also effective.
