Nex
Alright, so this is not nearly done. But I wanted to get input on an idea I had for a remix of Traverse Town from Kingdom Hearts. Lets just consider this a quick demo. Any suggestions or ideas much appreciated. http://www.mediafire.com/?njm5zy4jvnl Nex
Theory of N
- intro is way too long. - not enough melodic content in the background (imo) - a lot of the background content is too staticy. Probably due to reverb. - I like the lead melody and how you changed up the rythms a bit. All I really notice at the time, but I'm not going to go in depth since it doesn't really seem like you're at the point that lots of feedback would help. Seems to me like you're in the stage where you put down an idea and are currently building on that.
Nex
- intro is way too long.- not enough melodic content in the background (imo) - a lot of the background content is too staticy. Probably due to reverb. - I like the lead melody and how you changed up the rythms a bit. - The intro is definitely too long and I really need to put a real intro there instead of a long club-styled intro. - Agreed, I need to play with building the background up a lot more. - I've been told that a few times, it's actually the instruments themselves... originally this was going to be a fast dance song, and when I decided to change the style, I didn't quite change the instruments enough - Thanks
The Derrit
Just a thought, but try making this more acoustic. It makes me think reggae/dancehall, and I think it'd be kinda cool with true instruments instead of synths and stuff. Just something to think about.
