Zayne
Hi There, There's a song I have (can't remember where I got it) that I've searched for without success that isn't on the OST. It's very similar to "Time of the Dreamwatch" but it has some instruments in it that seperate it from the original (and in this case, sound better in my opinion). Since I can't post attachments, I don't know how else to let you hear it for yourself. It's definitely different than the original, but still the same with a bit of a different arrangement. Sorry I'm not much help at the moment.
mattoco
Does the song in your possession have a title? You can upload the track to a file hosting service if you want to share it with us; someone may get a better idea of what you're looking for if they hear it. prophetik music
it's likely from radical dreamers. they took most of the music, most of the story, and several characters when they created chrono cross. the OST is seriously only about 15 tracks, and half of them are the same damn song. i should know =) get it at zophar's domain. Zayne
Here they are: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=5d8f9423d13efc5d08f8df73f2072ed6e04e75f6e8ebb871 The file named "The Dream That Time Dreams" is the supposed original and the one named "Chrono Cross - Main Theme" is the one I like, but the arrangement is different and I can't find it anywhere. If you listen to The Dream that Time Dreams, at 1:22 in, you can compare the two.
mattoco
The files you have uploaded are currently set to private and cannot be viewed/downloaded. As for slight variations on the "The Dream That Time Dreams", there was a minor variation in instrumentation between the demo version and the released version. You can listen to the demo version here.
Zayne
Yes, that's the one! I appreciate it, was trying to find out what version of the song it was for a while now. Now, if only I can find a 320kbps version? =)
