GarretGraves
Ok so I got Amplitube 2 Metal a month or so back. The first thing I noticed was the latency problem. There was a delay between strumming my guitar and the sound. (duh). So I toyed around with the settings and discovered that if I lower the buffer size to 128 in the control panel for my Line6 Toneport DI, the problem is solved. But then I start getting pops once every few minutes and if I play with FL or Audition opened they get worse. And raising the buffer size to 256 and beyond INCREASES the latency problem. I cant record this way. Is there a way to fix this issue? my specs are as follows: Intel Core 2 duo 6300 @ 1.86 Ghz 4 gigs of RAM (Win XP only reads 3.25 tho) Sound Blaster Audigy 2 sound card. Hy Bound
I get that problem with guitar rig. I've found that if you split the routing and listen to what you're playing through an amp while you're recording into the program, that works... Otherwise, even on my beast of a rig, there's a pretty noticeable lag. I know there's gotta be a fix, but this may help in the interim. GarretGraves
crap. I don't got an amp. ya know, you'd figure if people were getting this problem even on behemoth machines, they'd have a fix for it. I'm debating going on their website for tech help. But i thought I'd try here first.
