Guest Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Some might be aware I had a huge computer malfunction and now I'm up again and while I was able to save my files and programs, I fear many of them I can't use again. Since I've been meaning to buy Kontakt 4 anyway, I have to wonder if it might help me here. Is there any chance Kontakt will load the old Colossus and Ethno World 3 instruments? At this point I may need to beg some of my work clients for some part-time work (which would actually work out for a number of things going on right now) if I need to buy that shit again, but I'm just weighing my best bets here. I'm a Kontakt 4 virgin myself (bought Komplete 6 yesterday) but I was able to load everything else into Kontakt Player so I would more than imagine it would work with 4. Quote

big giant circles Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 If you're talking about the Kompakt version of Colossus (this one), then yes. I don't even bother using any of the Kompakt instruments in Kompakt. I just load them straight into Kontakt 4 and they all work fine. Quote
