dimsuM
Hi guys, this is my first post, contribution as well as my first attempt at ever putting together a song from start to finish.... I have dabbled infrequently and in small doses with FL studio for quite some time.. but have never taken the effort to get into production seriously, only played around. With the help of a friend I am starting to learn more about how to make music, I am hoping here I will learn alot more about the technical side, and than I can get help from the more experienced members here to improve my skills ~ I would just like to know your thoughts on this song, it's still quite imperfect... and any help/advice is apprectiated Lead synth still sounds a little weird :S will fix that in later bounces edit: I should probably state its from Super Mario 64, the Koopa Road song lol. title was a bit vague.. CC Ricers
lol random wobble at 0:49 This is a good first start. I like the piano and synth counterparts. There are already some breakbeat remixes of this song here but I don't know what else to tell you on how to improve it. You're facing some tough competition, but sounds like you're going in the right direction.
dimsuM
ROFL that wobble sounds silly, i just chucked a glitch on there without paying any attention to it, i'll get rid of some the effects. And yeah, I had a listen to the other remixes of this song (actually remember listening to Alternate Route years ago) and I can't really say that I'm going to be on level with them, but it's a learning experience more than anything and i'm just keen to get into the gritty end of it and improve my technique.
