This is my first ReMix attempt, so I was hoping to get some feedback before blindly submitting. I love the Grabbag theme from Level 1, but by itself it can get very repetitive. I wanted to mash-up the more recognizable Grabbag theme with some of the building tension from Level 2 and took some rhythmic inspiration from Level 4 to tie it together.

What do you think? Do you like where this is going? What kind of improvements are necessary before this would be submission worthy?

At first I thought it was cluttered. Too many themes together. But I sorta like it anyway.

I think the problem is that although I can hear Waterworld at the beginning (Toxic Dump) after the first few seconds it completely drowns away and I can only hear Grabbag mixed with Stalker (Hollywood Holocaust)

I'm also not sure if you need the Duke quotes in there. It might be hurting your remix as opposed to helping. It makes it sound like one of those subpar remixes people make on youtube, where all they do is take a theme and throw random Duke quotes into it and add a crappy moving image. It could use a little more, how do I say this.. personality. It's a little bit interesting but not enough to make me want to get the song.

Also there's a note or chord that starts playing at like :20, and it just continues for like the entire song. I don't know if it's intentional but it really sticks out for me. I'd try to make it more interesting. I'm sorry if I can't be more specific than that. I want to give you more constructive opinions but I'm not really sure what you could do to improve this. It's a good effort, but I think in it's current state it's not unique enough to get passed if you submit it.

Maybe make the beat less repetitive and more catchy? Remove the quotes (just to see if it sounds better that way), And do something with the Waterworld that's in there. Right now I hear it at the beginning and I hear two notes of something at the very end of the song. Also, the unfortunate problem with Grabbag is that its a song that is REALLY repetitive.

P.s. Grabbag isn't played in Level 1. It's only played at the title screen. Level 1 plays a song called Stalker, and level 4 (Toxic Dump) plays Waterworld. Level 2 Red Light District plays Death Toll, and doesn't make an appearance that I can hear in your remix. (Just saying so if you submit it, there is no confusion about what tracks you're using)

(If you ever decide to make another Duke related remix, may I recommend looking at Alienz, Say your prayers (Lunar Reactor). It's a track that I think has a lot of potential. And I think your remix style could create quite an interesting track from that.(just a thought:-P))
