JustinC721 Posted October 29, 2010 Share Posted October 29, 2010 My friends and I are working on a cover for Subdivisions by Rush, and so I've been tinkering with my Yamaha to try and get the sound as close as possible. I feel that I'm 99% there, but I still don't think I have it right. Maybe it's how the song is mixed in the studio. I also need to find a midi for the drum track, there are too many tempo changes for a metronome. Here is my cover. I know it's not mint. Im basically a noob when it comes to tinkering with sounds, but I really tried to get as close to the original as possible with my keyboard and I'm just looking for some input to improve my performance. This isn't a final draft either. I know my timing is slightly off at point because I still have difficulty following the drums at certain points in the song.
