Loose Link
Hi everyone. I guess this is my first video/computer game remix, not intentionally, but oh well I'm guilty It's a remix of the Valve logo intro from Half Life 1 and 2. It's mostly sampled and there are a couple of other game samples here and there, hope you all enjoy: http://soundcloud.com/loose-link/loose-link-ghost-protocol
M249-M4A1
this sounds more like a mashup than any remix. it wasnt too good in my opinion. the biggest suggestion if you want to go anywhere with this, is to re-create the theme yourself and mix with that. using the direct samples and chopping them wont give you the best results and often sounds messy. especially when u need to tweak the EQ, you couldnt do it for any individual instrument of the sample since its already rendered
Loose Link
Well.. yeah, it was a mash-up It was a track from an album I did, this track I basically cut the theme up and rearranged it all, and added other samples and sounds to it, just thought someone might be interested in it since its video game music I'll be giving remixing a proper go, maybe not with this track but a brand new one, I'm interested in video game music and there's a few I'd like to remix. But thanks for the advice anyway.
