DusK Posted September 9, 2011 Share Posted September 9, 2011 CURRENT VERSION: Version 4 I'm currently working on a lone wolf remix album called "Generation Gap". The idea is to take Genesis-era Sonic tracks and remix them in a style reminiscent to newer Sonic games. Though it'll be a KNGI release, I'd like some tracks to make it to OCR. I think this could be one of those tracks. As the title implies, it's a punk remix. Crits/suggestions very welcome, and said crits/suggestions may go a long way in making the whole album better. I think adding anything to it would take away from the style you got going. It would be really cool to turn it into a vocal track, but its good as it is. DusK Posted September 30, 2011 Author Share Posted September 30, 2011 What samples did you use? FL Studio samples. Not the best, but it's the best I have access to, so it's what I gotta work with. Anyway, I'm at version 3. Some minor production touches, and a re-recorded bass because the old one was a bit lacking. My bass sucks hard, so I have to do a lot of EQing to make it sound good.
