Hey all, I found an old remix I started of the Gen III VS Gym Leader theme. I tried to make the arrangement kind of stripped back, like something a power trio would perform, and I think I got a decent start. Tell me what you think!:

Pros:

Awesome bass, nice drums, the scratchy guitar sound is awesome. Great to hear a song from that gen.

Cons:

The intro was a bit long, before the guitar kicks in. The guitar is awesome, but seems distant and dull sounding. It could have used some more interpretation as far as the melody goes. I'v already heard the melody, I want to hear something new.

Overall, I think it's a good mix, but it's only *good* not *great*. It could use some work, but great start.
