Sessoneon
Here's a link to my cover/remake of "Promise" by Akira Yamaoka from Silent Hill 2. The original song is one of my favorites from any soundtrack so I thought I'd try my take on it. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Enjoy the track
Paladin
Sounds really awesome. Love it. I don't like the snare though. I'd go for a snap or rimshot sample instead. or go for a powerful snare with heavy reverb and go for an 80s type sound. The lead that comes in at 0:34 sounds a bit aggressive for this chill track I think. I'd go for a smoother synth, like a square wave type sound. Maybe with some glissando/portamento on there. At 1:16 it hits the chorus moment and I think you want to make it an epic moment. Get a counter-melody in there and fstten up the soundcape with some extra pads/strings or something. I think a bit climax here would really work. Have you considered putting those vocal samples through a filter? Nice work, really liking this mix!
