Modus Posted February 3, 2012 Share Posted February 3, 2012 Orchestral is so far above me, but I still enjoyed this. It manages to be ominous but stays away from being too depressing. The only thing that threw me off was how the beat is constant. Like a new chord strikes on the downbeat, but there's nothing really moving in-between. That may be intentional for the ominous feel though, as it gives a "trudging" sort of rhythm to it. Reminds me a lot of something I'd hear in a well-produced JRPG, and for that I love it.
