MikeViper
Introduction: Hey, I'm Young Prodigy and I'm looking for 3 singers to record a song I wrote. The vocals of this song are divided into two parts. The first part is the lead vocals part. The second part is the backup vocals part, which will be sung by two singers in harmony. Here's the song: What I'm looking for: I'm looking for 3 singers that have that 90's dance music kind of voice. You know, that really soulful female voice, that's reminiscent of 90's dance/r&b groups like Black Box and Soul 2 Soul. Here are some examples of what I'm talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jefU3owEAgM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehib674Fg4U But for the most part, the first song is the best example of what I'm looking for. Lead Vocal Lyrics: -This section starts at about 0:29We'll make it loud and pump up the music... -This section repeats at at about 0:36- -The second section starts at about 0:56- Make the music loud! -1:02- Loud! -1:04- Make it louder cause we're gonna go all night long... -1:08- All night... LONG! Backing Vocal Lyrics: -At about 0:15-Let's make it loud and pump up the music Make it loud and pump up the music Make it loud and pump up the music All night long -At about 0:22 Let's make it loud and pump up the music Make it loud and pump up the music Make it loud and pump up the music All night long we'll... -At about 0:33 We'll make it loud We'll pump it... This part then repeats. -At about 0:44- Let's make it loud and pump up the music Make it loud and pump up the music Make it loud and pump up the music All night long -At about 0:51 Let's make it loud and pump up the music Make it loud and pump up the music Make it loud and pump up the music -At about 1:00 Make it loud Make it loud -At about 1:04- Pump it up Make it loud Having trouble? If you're having trouble syncing up the lyrics to the melody, I've uploaded the isolated parts. You can listen to the isolated lead track here: http://www.mediafire.com/?3utb0mwvup13ipa You can listen to the isolated backing vocals here: http://www.mediafire.com/?eg86a4azyrit4yi Auditioning Guidelines: - If you want to audition, send a PM or e-mail to me with a MP3 or WAV recording of yourself, singing the song acapella. My e-mail address is xixbulletxix@yahoo.com. - When recording your audition, make sure there is as little static or noise as possible. If you can't really do anything about that, don't worry, just send the audition anyway. - When PMing or e-mailing me or PMing use this format for the subject: "[Name]'s [part] Audition". So if you're name was Young Prodigy like me, you're topic would be like.... Young Prodigy's Lead Vocal Audition or Young Prodigy's Backing Vocal Audition Deadline: The deadline is March 10, 2012. This gives you a week to audition. If anyone needs more time than that let me know.
dannthr
Wait, for the audition you want them to give you basically all you need to finish the track? What else do you need from them after their audition, assuming they "make it?" Moreover, what do they get from you in return for the work? MikeViper
Wait, for the audition you want them to give you basically all you need to finish the track? What else do you need from them after their audition, assuming they "make it?" Moreover, what do they get from you in return for the work? What do I get for composing? Nothing, but the fun of composing. If you don't want to audition you don't have to and that's the end. What do you expect me to say money? I didn't get any money for making the track. This is all for fun. If you want money, go elsewhere.
