jordanrooben
I don't have too much to say about this other than the fact that I know the mastering/mixing is low quality. Anyway, advice is welcome as always. Enjoy! http://soundcloud.com/jordanrooben/cackleta-final-battle
Ethan Rex
very loud brass at the beginning is startling, and not in a musical way. I'd lower the volume just a tad around :56 there's some intonation issues with the violins. this is also true for the flute later on (I believe its a bit flat, but i could be wrong). This continues on throughout the piece with other instruments. NEADS MOAR PERCUSSION. I'm not just saying this as a percussionist, but right now this arrangement doesn't really take me anywhere musically. I'm not sure if you've finished writing or not, but as it stands, there's no climax. Swell to a musical point (which can be capped off very nicely by a cymbal crash) to keep things dynamic and interesting for your listener.
