Trouble with Shreddage in FL studio

Hi guys.

I'v been having trouble with Shreddage X.

I bought and downloaded it a few days ago and read the guide.

It said to run the quick start file to get started and every time I do, it does nothing for about 20-30 seconds and then freezes / crashes my computer completely. Am I doing something wrong?

Also, can I use shreddage by just using the free Kontakt 5 player and not buying the $400 version?

So it would seem it's an expansion which requires the full version of Kontakt.
