Aviators Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Hey there! I've been working on an experimental project recently that ended up taking on a life of its own in the form of a concept album. This album is Aeterno, which is written as the score to fictional video game. There's no game this was based off of (aside from a little TimeShift reference), it's all original, but I figured this would be a great place to share it! I'm trying to brush up my composition skills to get into professional scoring. Sure, I've got a lot to learn, but practice makes perfect! I'm not asking any of you to go buy the album, I just want you to take a listen to a song or two. Tell me what you think. Did I capture the "gamey" atmosphere I was trying to achieve? I'd love nothing more than some feedback. You can find the album here: http://music.soundoftheaviators.com/album/aeterno Thanks! Quote
Emunator Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Just wanted to chime in, I'm giving this a listen right now and I'm wholly impressed I feel like your sound reminds me more of a film score than a video game score, but either way, it's extremely high quality and memorable. Well-produced, too I'm enjoying listening to this quite a bit! Quote
