Ryan Jobson
Hey guys, I've always been an MMO fan and recently heard about this Neverwinter game coming out soon, and it's going to be free to play. I was just curious if anyone's going to be playing it or if you wanted to share any thoughts on it. Cheers
Hyperion5182
With imperfect world running that crap after the season 7 disaster in STO and now compounding it with what's about to be a very crappy season 8? That game had a mass exodus of its best players because of what they did including me. It permanently turned off NWN for me.

Hyperion5182
They made a huge amount of changes that were pretty much unnecessary from any standpoint. It was made with the intention of making it a massive money grab and most people believe brought on by PWE rather than STO devs The end result was a couple of nice things but if you looked under the crap the game was made significantly more of a grind out than it was before season 7 kicked off. It really fucked with the flow of dilithium and it happened over the MASSIVE outcry of the player testers and the playerbase itself. Player requests to modify them to something still keeping with the intended outcome but not so punitive to players were flat out ignored. The changes came in a stealth fashion after reasonable alternatives were explored on the Test Server with massive input from the player base. Flat out we were lied to. We didn't like it and the end result made the game for all but the sheeple and the wannabe korean grinders unplayable. My fleet kicked me out over my protests. I left with pleasure. Other fleets vanished completely.
nOkbient
I hate when companies just change their games like that. I've dealt with that sort of thing before, and it sucks...
