Mega Man 2 - Dr. Wily Stage 1 - Symphonic Remake

Hi everyone,

I've been making this remake of the Dr. Wily Stage 1 theme from Mega Man 2 (yes, yet another Dr. Wily Stage remix) for quite a while, and it's near finished now.

I'm not sure about the strings which are used as a bass line (in the 70 percent of the song), it still sounds monotone.

Yeah, all the strings sound unrealistic; not just the contrabass. You have sustains playing short notes (and pretty much the rest of the notes). Conceptually it's nice, but the harmonies are strange and the tempo feels pretty rubato to me. Not bad, but the strings realism is unfortunate.
