Looking for more learning

I made this account years ago but I wasn't as serious as I am these days.  So;

I am looking for improvments, software and personal.  I do my best to remix/recreate/re-arrange old VG Music at people's request; however, I am not pleased with my current abilities as I know there can be greater heights.

i currently have 178 songs on it; some good and some ok.  The only program I use is FLstudio 11 which i bought during a deployment years ago.

What else do I need, also some more instruments would be good, I scour the internet for Sytrus stuff (that's my current favorite).  

I also have little skill for mastering, I do what I can though not to use a compressor (limiters though).

 

Also, money is a problem so I would like to know what's out there but if it's low cost or free I'd probably jump to that first.

 

I appreciate any help I can get.

This is stuff that you should learn before you delve deeper into learning your DAW. Knowing your tools doesn't help you if you don't know how to use them.
