Its a good start, but your mix is really close to the original.  The layered buildup is a bit on the weak side and there's not much variation throughout the song.  Also the drum work could be beefier and the samples could be better.  I would check out some stuff from Ben Briggs to get some ideas.  He remixes in the style that I believe you are going for.   https://www.youtube.com/user/bbriggsmusic
