greyfox51
Okay, I downloaded an .rsn file of the Super Metroid soundtrack and I'm confused about a few things: -How do you add it to FL Studio 6? and -Is it possible to use the same music but change the instruments from the rsn file? Smoke
You can ask all your FL-related questions here: http://www.ocremix.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=12 Although Fruity Loops doesn't support the .rsn format(Rarred .spc set), and it doesn't support .spc either(Which is what you'd get if you unpacked the .rsn using a program like WinRAR) Given the way the SPC format works, replacing instruments should be possible, but requires some technical knowledge about the SPC700 chip used in the SNES, as well as the construction of the .spc filetype itself. Alternatively, you could convert the SPC to a MIDI file and work with that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SPC700_sound_format Technical info on the SPC format.
